At the Trinational Hydrogen Forum on June 30, numerous representatives from politics, economy and science discussed the future of green hydrogen in the border triangle Germany-France-Switzerland. At the same time they celebrated the official foundation of the Trinational Hydrogen Initiative "3H2" initiated by the “Climate Partners Oberrhein”, which brings together the most important parties from the three countries. The declared aim of 3H2 is for the relevant players to join forces and exchange experience and knowledge in order to promote concrete projects for the region and support companies at national and European level. By the end of the year, the initiative is expected to grow from the current 25 to more than 50 companies.
As a founding member of the 3H2 initiative, the fischer group is proud to help shape the energy transition in the region. Guido Eckenwalder, Sales Manager for Battery Systems and Hydrogen Technology, informed the around 300 visitors about the possibilities of using stainless steel tubes in hydrogen applications during a presentation and introduced a first concrete project to advance the hydrogen economy in cooperation with GRZ Technologies, an expert in hydrogen storage technology. fischer Rohre for Metallhydridstorage from GRZ starts at 2,34h
